Total Solar Eclipse.

It has been 2017 since the last one happened. What an incredible phenomenon to witness, the day turning into the night before our eyes for just a few minutes.

Today’s eclipse symbolizes the power of rebirth. The strongest source of energy we know, the sun, loses its light for a few minutes. Total darkness. I can imagine how in ancient times that was perceived, as chaos, fear, and anguish. Now we know this magnificent spectacle is a perception in our mind. We know the sun didn’t lose its fire, it was only shadowed. We pay close attention to this and observe waiting for it to pass. What a great lesson. To know, that after the darkness the brightness of the sun shows up again. Everything passes.

I woke up sharing these words with my family, and we all gave thanks for this reminder.

My wise daughter also added that it is so important to have faith in a greater source, even when it looks like it is not there.

May we continue to see the light in times of darkness. No matter how long it takes. So grateful to the Universe for honoring our existence and giving us this pause to reflect on that. I thank our satellite the moon, for what we are about to witness.
