I recently heard the most beautiful message. It made me cry. I believe in serendipity moments and I was floating in one. This little girl probably half my age, was so wise, and she carried herself with caution, social media can be cruel. Her message started quite funny talking about her cat and she was laughing. It then became the sweetest thing. She became one with the world. She started feeling the weight of the world of those who suffered. She understood and this brought her tears. It brought me to tears. She spoke of how many lives we have lived and how even then, we, our older and wiser versions of ourselves, were there to guide us. Holding our hand, cheering us into believing we would be ok! Our reality can be limited and sometimes so cold, at times lonely and misunderstood. And yet again, we know, we are not alone.

She said, "We are so proud of you and your journey." She then followed up with, "Now write yourself a love letter. Thank yourself for everything you have done through the years. Give your 10-year-old self the biggest hug, your 16-year-old self the biggest hug, your 20-year-old self." I would love to hug this little girl and thank her for the reminder.

Sometimes we live so rushed, longing to connect and be loved, admired, and praised.  We don’t need anyone to tell us how wonderful we are, or acknowledge the immense effort we have put into living. We don’t need praise and validation for belonging, we have earned it. We don’t need acceptance of who we are, we already know it. You do not need to prove how worthy you are to be loved. You are loved. If you could look back and give yourself the biggest compliment...What would it be? What words of encouragement would you whisper? How many hugs and kisses would you share? It's never too late.

We have the strength of a million miracles.  We are the epitome of the word success! We have made it! Many, many times.

How many people have we touched? how many places have we seen and lived in?

Our existence adorns the corners of time exquisitely. Living in a world that demands our attention and constant interaction is challenging. Let’s show up for ourselves first, remember that we are enough, and let’s write ourselves love letters.

All my love to you.
